All of Puffy’s mattresses are made with special cooling gel-infused foams that increase airflow and contouring foams that minimize strain without letting you sink into it. Puffy has won awards for their temperature-neutral Cooling Cloud™ Foam layer that they spent 4 years researching and testing. It’s made to be adaptive, comfortable, and evenly distribute weight and dissipate heat. They’ve paired that with another proprietary Climate Comfort™ Foam layer, which is a breathable foam that provides pressure relief and is resistant to humidity and temperature fluctuation.
Puffy offers three different mattresses, the medium-firm, 5-layer Puffy Mattress, their most popular, medium-plush, 6-layer Puffy Lux Mattress, and their most luxurious, ultra-plush, 7-layer Puffy Royal Hybrid mattress.
If you want a mattress to work with your current bed, Puffy is a good choice because all of their, mattresses are designed to work with any bed frame including flat frames, slats, adjustable frames, or box springs. All of Puffy’s mattresses include premium multi-layer systems for comfortable sleep. While the 3 different mattress models all have some variances in their construction, here are the universal elements.
Stain-Resistant Cloud Cover
The easy-to-clean Stain-Resistant Cloud Cover is meant to help protect your mattress for years. It’s a zip-and-wash cover made of soft, breathable, and cooling bamboo rayon that’s naturally hypoallergenic to help protect you from allergens and irritants.
Cooling Cloud™ Foam
All Puffy mattresses include an award-winning, breathable, gel-infused Cooling Cloud™ Foam layer, that’s made to remain temperature-neutral to help keep sleepers cooler. It’s built to cradle the body while relieving pressure points specifically around the shoulders, hips, knees, and joints.
Climate Comfort™ Foam
Puffy’s Climate Comfort™ Foam layer is created to be temperature change resistant for cool, comfortable sleep. It also resists expansion and contractions associated with seasonal temperature changes so it remains consistently cool, all year.
Firm Core Support Foam + Contour-Adapt Coils
Every Puffy mattress includes a high-density foam base layer for durability, support, and stability. The thickness of the Firm Core Support foam layer varies from 5-7 inches depending on the model you choose. The hybrid models, Puffy Lux and the Puffy Royal, also include contour-adapt coils that add extra stability, bounce, and edge support.
Grip Base Cover
Because Puffy is designed to work with any bed frame, new or old, each mattress includes a Grip Base Cover to keep your mattress from moving around no matter how much you toss and turn.
Body-Adapting Plush Dual Cloud Foam and Cloud Air
Finally, even though they’re only found on the Puffy Lux and Puffy Royal it’s worth mentioning Puffy’s Body-Adapting Plush Dual Cloud Foam and Cloud Air technology. These are both extra layers built into the hybrid mattresses that further adapt to the body and offer extra plushness.

Firmness
