We're here to help you sleep better.

Having trouble sleeping? Our Mission & Vision
Having trouble sleeping lately? You're not the only one. With the stress of a raging pandemic that has upended all of our lives, getting quality shut-eye is a challenge for many. According to a recent study by the Kaiser Family Foundation, more than a third of Americans reported trouble sleeping due to pandemic stress. Even among those that are able to sleep, many claim the quality of their sleep is suffering.
This phenomenon, nicknamed “coronasomnia,” comes as no surprise to experts like Stanford professor Donn Posner, who called the Covid-19 pandemic a “perfect storm for sleep problems.” Life changes and anxiety are, after all, two leading causes of sleep disorders like restlessness and insomnia. Unfortunately, a year into the pandemic, we're past the point of preventing such sleep issues. It's time, now, to resolve them.
If you're one of the millions of Americans currently suffering from sleep problems, make one of your 2021 resolutions to sleep better. In addition to making behavioral changes, like avoiding screens before bedtime and exercising more, a great way to achieve better sleep is to make sure your bed is as comfortable and relaxing as possible. You can do so with the help of sleep accessories. In this article, you'll discover how to sleep better with some of our favorite accessories from trusted sleep brands so that you can get the shut-eye you've been dreaming of.
How We Rate Mattresses
Mattressreport.org uses a proprietary numerical formula to determine a rating and position for each mattress brand out of an achievable score of ten and a possible 5 stars. For each mattress brand listed, a variety of data points were researched, collected, and scored to establish each mattress brand's standing relative to other featured brands.
After conducting extensive research on the mattress vertical, we have identified numerous factors as subjective indicators of value, quality, and customer satisfaction. From that determination, this analysis includes, but is not limited to variables like mattress composition, certifications for environmentally sound materials, average customer review ratings, the volume and sentiment of customer reviews submitted on the brand's site in conjunction with reviews found on other sites, editorial discretion, publicly available Better Business Bureau ratings, domestic manufacturing status, publicly disclosed annual revenue where applicable, additional bedroom accessories available for purchase, the length of sleep trial periods, the duration of warranties, shipping and return cost considerations, and customer service access.
All data aggregated and scored has been acquired from publicly available resources. These include brand websites, consumer information sites, news publications, non-profit organizations, b2b databases, published reviews, and mattress information extracted from brand sites and additional external and editorial sources.
The current order of companies represented, and each brand's specific numerical rating, are subject to change. Any featured partner's list position may be influenced by their popularity, performance, or compensation.
